Eternal Punishment for Rejecting Christ

Revelation of God's Eternal Punishment

for Those Who Deliberately Reject Christ

To the Leadership in the Body of Jesus Christ

To the Body of Jesus Christ

To the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers in the Body of Christ:

This message has not been taught in the Body of Christ for a very long time.

Jesus said,

"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments"

This message is a crucial part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it must be preached to His Church.

The grace and love of God includes the teaching of His wrath to His people. Contrary to popular opinion, the wrath of God expresses His love for us.

You see, He has given us a choice --  to choose His grace, or His wrath. This gift of choice shows God's unconditional love for us.

The Lord will hold the leadership in the Body of Christ accountable if they do not preach the wrath of God.

Ultimately, those who deliberately reject Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will be cast into the lake of fire. Hell is only a holding place for those who reject Him.       Again, let me be crystal clear --  those who deliberately reject Jesus Christ here on earth, will be cast into the lake of fire.

Hell is a paradise compared to the lake of fire.

The holy book of Revelation confirms that the lake of fire is the ultimate punishment for those who deliberately reject Jesus Christ.

"And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they are tormented day and night forever and ever. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works

Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire."   (Revelation 20:10, 12-15)

Bible students -- for an in-depth study of this subject, read the entire 20th chapter of Revelation.

The book of Revelation also says,

"But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."   (Revelation 21:8)

The God of the Bible, the Living Word of God, has revealed Himself as Three Persons: that is, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.  As the body of Jesus Christ, we know from His Holy Word that He is a God of love, mercy, grace, justice, judgment and wrath and no sin can come into His presence. For the purposes of this lesson, we will focus on what God has to say in His Holy Living Word about what will happen to those who deliberately reject His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus said,

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."            (St. John 3:16)

Another way to explain the options God gives us is found in the book of Deuteronomy where He commanded His servant Moses to say to the children of Israel,

"I call on heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them."  (Deut. 30:19-20)

The above Holy Scriptures express God's unconditional love for all of mankind and why He sent His only begotten Son to earth to die for the sins of the world. He also spoke to the children of Israel through His servant Moses, urging them to choose life that they may live. He further explained that God is your life and the length of your days. Jesus Christ also said,

"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."  (John 14:15)

Those who love God will keep His commandments and those who hate God will not.

The Holy Scriptures clearly say,

"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of his flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life." (Galatians 6:7-8)

The destiny of those who deliberately reject Jesus Christ is a place of eternal torment. The lake of fire is their ultimate eternal destiny. Hell is only a holding place and cannot be compared to the lake of fire.

In other words, Hell is compared to what the Catholics believe about a place called purgatory. A place they believe people go and wait, before the final judgment. There are those who preach that the God of the Old Testament is the God of hell, fire and brimstone and that the God of the New Testament is a God of grace and love. These false preachers totally ignore the Old Testament teaching and only teach what's in the New Testament.

Do not be deceived, and do not believe the lie. Jesus said that He came, not to do away with the Old Covenant, but to fulfill it.  The whole Bible, that is, from Genesis to Revelation must be preached in the Church of Jesus Christ -- not some, but all of it.

Let us now see what Jesus Christ had to say about eternal punishment for those who have rejected Him. Jesus said,

"Then He will also say to those on the left hand, depart from Me you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels . . .

And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."  (Matt. 25:41, 46)

For the true disciples of Jesus Christ, I recommend that you read and study Matthew chapter 25 from verses 31 to 46 to fully understand what Jesus was teaching about the judgment of the Gentiles.

"But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Matt. 8:12)

"Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Day of Judgment than for that city." (Matt. 10:15)

"And if your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell

And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you, for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell." (Matt. 5:29-30)

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul

But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." (Matt. 10:28)

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation." (Matt. 23:14)

For true disciples of Jesus Christ, I recommend that you read and study Matthew chapter 23 from verses 13 to 36 to fully understand what Jesus taught about condemning the Pharisees.

The book of second Thessalonians the 1st chapter in verse 9 says,

"These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power."

In conclusion, some preach that the Old Testament does not matter anymore and that the Law of Moses, the Ten Commandments, are irrelevant.  They claim the only thing  to be preached is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Don't believe the lie. Jesus said,

"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets;

I did not come to abolish but to fulfill."  (Matt.5:17)

The entire Bible must be preached to the nations from Genesis to Revelation.           The Bible IS The Living Word of God and

The Living Word of God is JESUS CHRIST.

The bottom line: life is about making choices. There are two options on the table --

1) accept Jesus Christ as your God, Lord, King, and Savior, and you will inherit eternal life. If not,

(2) the lake of fire is ultimately your eternal destiny.

I hope and pray that you choose eternal life and not eternal death with hell fire and brimstone that will ultimately transition into the lake of fire.
