Introduction
This is a true hunting story. It demonstrates the desire to live that is part of our DNA, or if you will, "our genealogical survival system, that begins at the time 'we' become a life"!
This story is for every one of the 46 million women who have had abortions since Roe v Wade; and to every one of the men... who have been the biological fathers to these aborted lives. I grieve for the millions and millions of innocent children who can never "Honor your Father and Mother..." because their father was merely "my baby's daddy"!!
This is how it happened.
Next to my residence, there is a radio station. Around my home and around the radio station are seventy-five acres of open fields and woods, and the place is full of deer! I got a call from the property manager at the radio station and he began the story - one of the owners of the rest of the property finished the story several days later.
One of the technicians at the radio station likes to hunt deer, both to control the population explosion that is frequently running into cars, and because he likes venison.
Early one morning a few days ago he went hunting. Down by the radio tower he shot a buck (male deer) in the right shoulder. The deer dropped as soon as he shot, but as he walked toward the deer, it suddenly jumped up and ran off down the creek bed in back of my home. It then turned and ran through three fields, and ended up in the City of Manassas. The hunter enlisted the help of his friends and went looking for the deer. Several hours later they found the deer, still alive on a road embankment in the city. Knowing it was against the law to discharge a firearm in the city, they went to their truck and got a hunting bow and arrow.
They shot the arrow into the neck / lung area. Instead of lying there and dying, the deer jumped up and ran back through the three fields and disappeared. Two days later, one of the property owners jumped a deer when he was hunting, and when he shot, the deer fell down, then jumped and ran down into the thick brush by the creek. Several hours later, he chased the deer out of the brush, and with the next shot, the deer went down, then jumped back up again, and ran into another field. The hunter searched until dark, then left without finding the deer.
Two days later the hunter returned with another hunter. Down by the creek, they jumped a deer and shot it. The deer jumped up and ran down into the brushy area by the creek. One went into one side of the brush and the other set up to ambush the deer when it came out. One man went into the brush yelling and making all kinds of noise to scare the deer. He found the deer lying in the brush, and it jumped up and ran into the line of fire. It stumbled when it was hit, and turned to cross the creek. It finally fell after getting its feet stuck in the mud, then fell into the water, and drowned!
When they pulled the deer out of the water, there was no usable meat! The deer had been shot in each of 4 quarters, and once in the chest with twelve guage shotgun slugs. The broken arrow was still in his neck / chest. Still he would not die, even with the passage of five days time, until he finally drowned because he was stuck in the MUD!
We have to ask,
If a so-called "dumb animal" has such a desire to continue living,
HOW MUCH GREATER IS THE DESIRE TO LIVE
IN AN UNBORN LIVE BABY
WITH AN INTELLIGENCE BUILT INTO IT'S DNA?
