ISRAEL

It began with the blowing of the shofar (ram's horn trumpet)

from four parts of the walls encompassing the Citadel of David.

 

The sound can be an alarm, a call to battle, a sound of victory, rejoicing and celebration. There were shofar blasts from heaven as the YHVH descended upon Mount Sinai to meet with Moses and deliver instruction regarding His Law, and how His people could draw near to Him (Exodus 19:16, 19).

I Corinthians 15:52 (Hebrew translation) speaks of one Final Shofar when the dead in Messiah will be raised and those remaining, changed in the twinkling of an eye.

The anthem, Jerusalem, and the Lord's Prayer were sung.

A youth praise team, The Arrows, led praise.

Under the strong leader, Nimrod, the people began building the Tower of Babel. Their motive was human pride, and rebellion against their Creator God.

To frustrate their ambitions, God confused their language, creating many different languages. They could no longer understand one another and agree on their rebellious actions. They scattered throughout the world.

Genesis 11:1-9

 

Then in the course of God's timetable for man, His Son, Yeshua, was manifested in the Earth, and became the "Lamb of God". He took upon Himself all the sin of mankind, and was sacrificed in our place, upon the Cross. Christ had promised His followers that the Holy Spirit would come to them after He ascended to Heaven following His Resurrection.

God had a surprise in store on the day of Pentecost, because when the Holy Spirit came to the 120 people (including Mary, the mother of Jesus), waiting in that upper room in Jerusalem, BABEL WAS REVERSED!

Whereas the different languages given at Babel separated mankind from one another, at Pentecost, the gifts of unknown tongues which accompanied the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, united the believers. On that day when God poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit upon them, everyone could understand one another, no matter which language they would speak. Unbelievers mocked them, accusing them of drunkenness.

Acts 2:1-13

Pastor Fiona des Fontaines then spoke of David's mighty men who supported David to be proclaimed king of Judah in that very place in Jerusalem, where they were meeting that night.

Then finally, she quoted Zechariah 10:10-12:

 

Sing for joy and be glad, O daughter of Zion; for behold I am coming and I will dwell in your midst," declares the LORD.

Many nations will join themselves to the LORD in that day and will become My  people. Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you.

The LORD will possess Judah as His portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.

dancing with you, prophesying over Israel!

You are the joy that was set before Him.

 

and I reveal to you there shall be no end to Israel.

 

Cause your light to shine in a very dark place.

This tiny little nation has risen up - how have they done it?

 

I'll take two kings, then a third king. They'll say, "we have done it".

God says, do you really want Me to laugh again?

 

FROM THE SOIL OF ISRAEL OIL SHALL COME AND

PROSPERITY SHALL COME!

says the LORD.

 

My Mantle cast upon a generation.

You were destined to be here.

I shall pour out my Spirit one more time.

It shall start in Jerusalem.

Hear O Israel, the LORD your God is One God.

Enter into a whole new time of the Holy Spirit.

Enter into the Feast of Trumpets -

a double portion come upon you right now!  Take it!

Give God one more shout of victory and praise!

Receive what He has promised. Receive it!

[We tried, but mere words and screen captures of the 

event are inadequate. It was a meeting with the God of 

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and with those who worship Him 

in His Son, Yeshua, such as we have rarely experienced!

We attended through computer/digital technology,

with pen and notepad, and camera at the ready.

Capturing the essence of this amazing event was made

more challenging, because the eyes had to be wiped

(and nose blown) frequently. We humbly ask your

forgiveness, and pray that by His Grace, you will 

experience at least a small part of the actual event.
