. . . Angels are in our midst, working on our behalf! If we get our spirit still 

and at one with the Lord, we can recognize His help around us!

This is a time where the Jericho which stands in front of you and seems invincible must fall. Once you quiet your soul over the next seven days, you will move into the next level of strength to unlock the best that God has for you.  The time is now for you to go into your next war but the enemy would love to hold you in the warfare that has created conflict in your soul in the last season.

The Lord says, 

"Be still and watch Me seat you in a place to laugh at the enemies that have been in your path.  I am preparing a release of joy for My people.  They will laugh at their last failures and blockages.  

This release of joy from you becoming still in your spirit will get you across and to the other side of your storm. I will give you a strength to overtake the enemies that you have been battling.  

My people are filled with dangerous emotions.  I want to settle their emotions so that their minds will think the same way that I think. Unless they allow Me to deal with their dangerous emotions, they will miss many blessings that I have for the future.  

Many will end up striking the rock as Moses did out of a dangerous emotion instead of speaking to the rock, causing them to miss their door of entry for this season.  

Tell My people to be still. I am calling for a Jericho stillness.  

This warfare call is important for the future of My people.  If they will come before Me for seven straight days and allow Me to still their hearts and quiet their spirits, that which has been invincible in their past and has kept them from moving into their future will fall before them .  

Tell My people to still their hearts before Me."

I want to encourage you to find a daily place of communion over these next seven days. We each must find a new personal communion with the Lord.  Pulling aside to commune with the Lord over the next seven days will be a sanctification process . . .

Oh, just look at that "little angel" with her curly hair and pretty dress!

You are such an "angel" to give me these cookies! You knew I needed cheering up!

Then there was the angelic event complete with heavenly chorus, which changed the course of history forever:

This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger. And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest,
         And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased."

Luke 2:12-14

Here's a family story that took place in 1963:

Our eldest son was seven years old, with a shiny new bike . He had been strictly told where, and where he was NOT allowed to go. There was a through-street at the end of the block that could be dangerous to a youngster just learning to ride his bike.

The newest baby had finished nursing and I was about to put her in bed, our eldest girl came running into the house yelling, "Mommy, Mommy, he's in a ditch, and two trucks almost crashed!"

Baby was quickly put down, and out of the house I ran! Sure enough, at the end of the block there was my son and his bicycle, and two dump trucks in very close proximity. The truck drivers were standing in the street looking very upset! "You so-and-so, you almost made me hit you - stopping so fast like that!"

The other driver pointed, and they looked toward the boy and the bike in the ditch. "Oh! I get it now.  Is the boy OK? He's not hurt?"

I hugged my son and was checking him out for injuries. "No, he's alright", I assured them. "Thank you for stopping in time" I told the one driver. And I'm glad you stopped short of hitting the truck in front" I said, turning to the second driver.

"Really! I believe that there are angels here who protected each one of you. I pray a lot, and know that there are angels protecting my children. Let's be thankful that something really bad didn't happen!"

As I guided my son and his bicycle out of the ditch and back to the house, I glanced back at the two men. They stood there watching us go - their eyes wide and their mouths open.

Safely inside the front door, I hugged my boy again, and sternly warned him about his disobedience. Today this son is a grandfather who remembers many times of angelic protection in his life. He grins and says: "I must have worn out one angel after another!"

Remembering that day and the Scripture I had been reading, continues to comfort and assure me of God's loving protection for those who trust Him. 

Jesus told his disciples:

"See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

[For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost]"   Matthew 18:10,11

This past Thursday afternoon an unannounced security forces' exercise took place across all of Israel, bringing many of the busiest thoroughfares (such as the highway linking Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and portions of the Coastal Road) to standstills. Police forces deployed en masse in the drill which involved all of Israel's emergency and rescue forces, such as the Israel Defense Force, Shin Bet, Fire departments, Magen David Adom and the Prison service. The drill sought to create real-life scenarios such as a terrorist takeover of two Tel Aviv sites and in some cases made use of civilian "extras". 

One witness likened Tel Aviv to 'a pedestrian mall; people are walking on the road like they do in Yom Kippur', another claimed never to have seen anything like it in 38 years. There have been several large-scale drills and exercises in the nation during recent months, simulating earthquakes, cataclysmic missile attack, etc. 

All claim that there is no perceived immediate threat perpetrating them. The main news about this drill was that it took everyone by surprise. And for some reason, it was code named:   Heavenly Angels.

PLEASE PRAY:
*That Israel would have and maintain a sound state of readiness for any potential emergency, caused either by natural or hostile causes.

*In Hebrew, the word for 'Angel' is mal'akh and means "messenger" - In the Hebrew Bible it may refer to either a heavenly or an earthly human one. The Book of Matthew speaks of heavenly angels sent by the Son of Man who will come to gather the wicked and throw them into the fire (13:41); it also mentions those which will be sent to gather the elect (24:31). Both of these events will be unexpected. 

Sometimes angels are messengers of destruction (Psalm 78:49), sometimes of protection (Psalm 91:11). A New Testament book written particularly to Messianic Jews described them all as 'ministering spirits sent forth to minister on behalf of those who will inherit salvation' (Hebrews 1:14). 

PLEASE PRAY that Israelis will get ready for the coming 'gatherings' by heavenly angels. Pray that Believers will become spiritually discerning - able to be aware of the presence both of heavenly angels and dark ones working evil. Pray for an awakened awareness of and reverence for the 'Holy' in Israel."
